Brown County Civic Music’s 85th season opens next Saturday with the New York Chamber Soloists making their first Green Bay appearance. Known for their creative programming and diverse repertoire, the ensemble of 11 will perform “Six Sextets

Members of the New York Chamber Soloists are distinguished virtuosi, performing in the world’s great concert halls as soloists and chamber musicians. In addition, their careers are as varied as their music. They serve on faculties of prestigious music schools; they are award-winning composers and recording artists; they are proponents of new music and historical instruments.

It will be an evening like none other–a treat for the ear and the soul. (And word has it that an all-ensemble encore awaits beckoning.)
