Carolyn Barnard, well-known local artist, gifted Civic Music with prints of her watercolor painting, “Lombardi’s Field”. With the goal of financing a video production of our illustrious history, Civic Music is selling these prints for $55. (They sell for $100 in local galleries and gift shops.) The unframed prints can be purchased at the table in the lobby at the first concert or through our website. Thanks to the generosity of Wildwood Galleries Ltd., a framed print is on display.

Clarinet Lamp for Raffle

A clarinet lamp raffle will be held to raise funds for the Brown County Civic Music Association at the Chanticleer concert on Fri, Oct. 4. Tickets will be sold—for $5 each or 5 for $20—prior to the 7:30 p.m. start of the of the concert and at intermission. The drawing will take place at the end of intermission and those drawn must be present to win.

This stunning clarinet lamp was donated to Civic Music by Gary Wieseckel. Gary, a Civic Music board member, volunteer, and lover of music creates these beautiful lamps fashioned with real instruments. This gorgeous item of hand-made decor would make a fantastic Christmas gift for the music lover in your family.

We have joined a new program, AmazonSmile, that lets you help Brown County Music Association while shopping on Amazon.com.

AmazonSmile is a program where Amazon donates 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice. We are asking YOU to support Brown County Civic Music Association when you shop at AmazonSmile. Here’s all you have to do:

  1. Go to smile.amazon.com
  2. Sign in with your regular Amazon username and password.
  3. When you see the prompt to “Select a Charity,” skip to the box that reads, “Or pick your own charitable organization” and search for Brown County Civic Music Association.
  4. Select Brown County Civic Music Association from the results page.
  5. You will be directed to the Amazon store where you may shop and complete your purchases as usual. The banner at the top of the store will read in small print “Supporting: Brown County Civic Music Association Inc.”

All diners (not just BCCMA members) are included in the donation! Tell your family and friends and invite them to participate in this easy, delicious fundraiser.
