‘Lombardi’s Field’ Print Fundraiser

Carolyn Barnard, a well-known local artist, has gifted Civic Music with prints of her watercolor painting, “Lombardi’s Field.” With the goal of financing a video production of our illustrious history, Civic Music is selling these prints for $55 plus $10 postage and handling. (They sell for $100 in local galleries and gift shops.) The unframed prints can be purchased online or by calling the Civic Music office at 920-338-1801.

In this exquisitely rendered painting, Barnard captured a quiet snowfall scene of the historic Lambeau Field.  This beautifully composed piece is artfully arranged with the stadium reflected wetly in the parking lot pavement. The heavy contrast of the green and gold structure stands out vividly against the gold and purple twilight sky. Intersecting the strong horizon is a colorful ribbon, reminiscent of the revelry and merriment that prevailed in this legendary location. This fine art print is an essential addition to the collection of any devoted Packers fan.
