It’s tradition! For the seventh consecutive season, we close with the majestic power and superb musicianship of one of America’s preeminent orchestras. From delicate solo passages to bold sweeping crescendos, the 83 full-time professional musicians of the MSO demonstrate anew there’s nothing quite like an evening of live classical music. Maestro Edo de Waart and the MSO are earning strong reviews; critics and industry professionals raved about last year’s Carnegie Hall festival appearance.
Pre-Concert Talk
A pre-concert talk by Francesco Lecce-Chong will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Lars Thune Center (adjacent to the auditorium lobby) at West High School. He will discuss the compositions to be played during the concert which will enhance the enjoyment of the concert. The talk will conclude by 7:00 p.m. when the auditorium doors open for seating. All audience members are invited to attend.
